- “A love letter to the ’80s classics that captivated a generation, Stranger Things is set in 1983 Indiana, where a young boy vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.”
Stranger Things offer more than a suspense-mad story. It’s an engaging-addictive mystery that you would daintily want to see throughout the series. Yes, some elements are challenging to believe, but who cares, as long as the plot is creatively engaged, you wouldn’t mind at all.
I love Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers character, her acting was compelling and so much to believe. The kids played the vital role of the series as school-age heroes who are willing to save the day. But don’t let your kids watch this series without adult guidance because there are some inappropriate language, teens making out and violence disturbances.
Altogether, I love this show. It’s wonderfully done. Can’t wait for the season two because there are still some cases left unsolved and unanswered.
Verdict: 9/10
