REAL PLAY

“Look at children. Of course they may quarrel, but generally speaking they do not harbor ill feelings as much or as long as adults do.

Most adults have the advantage of education over children, but what is the use of an education if they show a big smile while hiding negative feelings deep inside?

Children don’t usually act in such a manner. If they feel angry with someone, they express it, and then it is finished. They can still play with that person the following day.”

May we always have the sense into our inner child’s heart.

Certainly an admirable ability. I could never do it as a child and it’s even worse as an adult. I’d still like to slit the throat of that kid that stole my pencil case in the 7th grade. That was 55 years ago.

      • I also resent adults for their fraud and subterfuge about those false idols and prophets : the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy (cheap witch never left more than 10 cents), the Sandman, Santa Claus and their false promise that we would have a Cinderella-like regeneration when we grew up. No small wonder my generation were cynical alcoholics by 9 years old.
