One of the best ways to experience South Korean culture is to wear a Hanbok (clothing from the Joseon period) while visiting the palaces in Seoul.

You can rent the Hanbok in most of the major tourist attractions, such as Insa-dong, Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village’s areas. Take note, admission to these Palaces is free when wearing it.

Hanbok rent prices rage to 13,000-20,000 won. It depends on the period of hours you require, but for us, two hours are enough. You could also accessorized your hair such as in braids with ribbons, flower crowns, or headbands. Traditional shoes and bags were available too.

Hanbok experience was definitely one of the most interesting things I did in Korea especially I am a fan of their historical dramas. I totally enjoyed it.
