Korean resistance fighters, known as the Heroic Corps, smuggle explosives to destroy facilities controlled by Japanese forces.
Another gripping wartime thriller sets when Korea was under Japanese occupation. If you are familiar with Japanese-Korean history, then this movie is easy for you to follow in terms of storytelling scope. Aside from that, this show is more than average fare when it comes to acting and cinematography.
I liked the suspense “atmosphere” spotted in this movie. The visuals of execution are tremendously horrible, yet you couldn’t take your eyes off from the screen. Since the sequence of the story is unpredictable and well-detailed, the element of “interest” from the viewers is palpable.
A must watch movie.
Verdict: 10/10
