INTRUDER (K-movie 2020)

Seo-Jin (Kim Moo-Yul) is a popular architect. He suffers from a trauma when his younger sister Yoo-Jin went missing. His sister’s disappearance occurred when Seo-Jin was a child. 25 years after her disappearance, Yoo-Jin comes back to her family. Seo-Jin feels something is not right with Yoo-Jin (Song Ji-Hyo).

This movie has a creepy vibe and gives the viewer’s curiosity till the end of the show. The pacing started slow, maybe because they are building up the elements of thrilling and twist to be unpredictable, and it works somehow.

I like the protagonist and villains acting, it’s quite compelling. The character’s mystery is annoyingly impressive, but the secret reveals easily at one shot in which the mystery became a little flat. Anyhow, this movie is good to watch, and it gives us the lesson to be doubtful and careful when accepting a complete stranger to our family. After all, we don’t live in a safe world.

Verdict: 9/10
