A volcano on Baekdu Mountain suddenly erupts. Pandemonium ensues on the Korean peninsula, with more eruptions predicted in the area.
Oh, I like this movie and I love the casts. The plot is quite refreshing for me since Mt.Baekdu is both important for South and North Korean people. How the story flows and the scene’s executed are captivating enough to be entertained. The acting is solid while the dramatic tension is obviously a top notch. The bromance and humor are exceptional, the pacing is precise, the cinematography is loaded with the element of cohesiveness, and the GCI is painless in the eyes. I feel like this film is a Hollywood blockbuster but of course, flair with Korean sentiments.
Ashfall is not a perfect movie, it has its own flaws, but forgivable. I recommend this film as it’s truly pleasing to watch.
