Anime List To Watch

HoriMiya

Two very different people – an academically successful schoolgirl and a quiet loser schoolboy – meet and develop a friendship.

The first part of the story is engaging, but after Hori and Miya became a couple, I find quite a few dull moments. Maybe I was expecting more adventure and character development. The side characters are many to handle too. In bright side, I love the art style, visuals and the colors are vibrant. after all, this anime is not that bad, still watchable. Verdict: 8/10

The Promise Neverland

When three gifted kids at an isolated idyllic orphanage discover the secret and sinister purpose they were raised for, they look for a way to escape from their evil caretaker and lead the other children in a risky escape plan.

I promise this anime is not a disappointment. Though I love the season 1 compare to 2, still it’s worth to watch. I like the characters of the main leads combined with intelligence, logic and strong-willed, plus the plot has a fast pace. The art style is above average too, the voice acting is great and the creative element is notable. Will the kids survive? Find it out! Verdict: 9/10

Attacks on Titans

After his hometown is destroyed and his mother is killed, young Eren Jaeger vows to cleanse the earth of the giant humanoid Titans that have brought humanity to the brink of extinction.

This anime has the original plot which keeps you interested from the beginning of season 1 to 4. A unique fantasy war epic that contains twists and turns, action pack with heartbreaking moments, characters that you will like and hate, creative visuals and has the surprise of elements of the main lead characters. Attacks on Titan is not my favorite anime series, but I am glad I enjoyed it. Verdict: 9/10

Devilman Crybaby

With demons reawakened and humanity in turmoil, a sensitive demon-boy is led into a brutal, degenerate war against evil by his mysterious friend, Ryo.

Devilman surprised me because of its nudity, sex, gore and extensive ways of violence. It’s different from other anime, but I understand the plot is not designed to be believable, but rather, it symbolizes the true evils of humanity that it is far from being perfect. The plot twist deserves the hype, I never see it coming. Well, I can recommend this anime only for adults who doesn’t care to be emotionally disturbed. Verdict: 8/10

Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma

Soma Yukihira battles some of the world’s best chefs to prove himself and refine his skills.

Food wars offer a plate of sumptuous food and art style. I feel relaxed while watching this anime and oftentimes got a mouth-watering when dishes presented, surely the taste will give you a craving imaginative. I like this anime because I am not a good cook, it satisfies me to see them cooking and obviously, I envy all the characters. Aside from that, the storyline is great, the MC is likeable, and the competition is delicious. Verdict: 9/10
