Dark in theme, but enjoyable to watch. It has the violence, but kept me on edge. I just finish the show in one row because it’s engaging and want to know who won the game. While watching this show, I silently prayed that it won’t happen to me and to anyone when in dire need of financial help because this game is more than a game of human nature under pressure.
Squid game is ruthless with its characters and I think that’s one of the reasons why it is unique and engaging. It is somehow dehumanizing humanity, but who knows, same thing is happening in the real world just in different forms, but has the same process of survival.
I love all the cast in this show. All are very diverse and acted flawlessly. They showed different emotions and create kinds of moods in every situation. The cinematography is top notch, the production design and the GCI is realistic and riveting effect.
I don’t think I need to say more about this show, it becomes popular in an instant. I give it 10/10 because I was entertained and couldn’t sleep for hours thinking how painful it would be for those who are waiting for their loved ones to return from the game.
What is your favorite game in this show? mine is the fifth round where the players have to cross a bridge of glass panels that can either break from or support their weight. That was so intense!
