Relay for life took place for the first time in the UAE last November 17-18, 2017. This relay is a team fundraising event where team members take turns walking around a track for 24 hours. Each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps. Cancer patients don’t stop because they’re tired, and for one night, neither do we.
Since our company was one of the sponsors, we are able to participate the event as to celebrate cancer survivors and carers; remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back by raising awareness and funds to support the work of Friends of Cancer Patients.
The human spirit is stronger than anything that can happen to it.
They have also some recreational activities for kids and adults.
