Sol-A (Shin Ye-Eun) is a woman in her mid 20’s and works for a graphic design company. She dreams of becoming a webcomic artist and she is a sociable person. Sol-A happens to take home a cat, Hong-Jo (Kim Myung-Soo). Sol-A is unaware that Hong-Jo is not an ordinary cat. He has the ability to transform into a human being. Living with the cat Hong-Jo, Sol-A gets involved in unexpected cases.
I watched this because I’m a cat lover and the plot sounds interesting. Also, the cast is refreshing, and I liked it when romance is cute and fluffy. However, Meow has been simply just an average show — not so bad and not so great either. It’s just a drama that will never take you to complications. You can just watch, relax, and enjoy the visuals.
The story has the potential to progress more, but it became plain and bland. The explanation of changing from cat to person is not quite satisfying, where is the creativity? couldn’t find it. Sad to say, there’s no extraordinary in this drama. Acting-wise is fair. Character development is slow. But the cat is lovable.
